Angelo Paoletta, 87, a lifelong resident of Johnston passed away April 28, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Grace (DiTommaso) Paoletta

Son of the late Giovanni and Carmela (Larino) Paoletta. Angelo was a loving man dedicated to his family. A World War II Army veteran, he worked as a self employed carpenter throughout most of his life. He was the life long friend of Louis Calvito, his best man and business partner.

He was the father of John, Paul, Angelo D. and Vinny Paoletta; grandfather of Joseph, Angela, Christopher and Katherine: and brother of Joseph, John and Richard Paoletta, Beverly Plante and the late Tina Zoglio, Ida Pearson and Janet Bowser.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial, with military honors to follow in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter.
