Anthony A. Pitocco, 74, died November 25, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family after having fought a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Savone) Pitocco.

Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late James and Angelina (Ricci) Pitocco. He was the owner of A. Pitocco Construction, TP Electronics and AJR General Contractors until his retirement. He was an avid pilot and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife he leaves his adored children, Anthony Pitocco of North Providence, Doreen Arcand of Johnston, James Pitocco of Hope and Robert Pitocco of Cranston; his beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Gina, Kerri, Jimmy and Jenna; a great-granddaughter, Italia; and a brother, John Pitocco of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Vincent Pitocco and Jean DeMarco.

His funeral will be private.
