Beatrice M. (Marro) Papa, 88, of Cranston, passed away March 28, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late John F. Papa Jr.
Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Anthony Marro and the late Lenora (Vessella) Sollitto.
A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by two daughters and two sons, Beatrice A. Papa and Diane J. Papa, both of Cranston, John F. Papa III of Warwick and Anthony A. Papa and his wife, Susanne Papa, of Cranston; five grandchildren, Sherry Stone, Anthony Papa Jr., Michael Papa, John Papa and Mario Papa; and six great-grandchildren, Brandon Stone, Raymond Stone, Joseph Stone, Lily Papa, Sophia Stone and Luca Stone. She was the sister of Angela Spirito, Francine Phillips and the late Antone Sollitto. She is also survived by her beloved niece, Angela Spirito.
Her funeral and burial were private.
