Mohr Library Activities
Fall Reading Challenge. Summer reading is over. Time to start a new Fall Reading Challenge! Monster Mini Golf donated 5 beautiful baskets which will be raffled of during the Seventh Annual fall Festival on Oct. 15 at 2p.m. (rain date Oct. 29) Children ages newborn to 12 can earn raffle tickets by reading or listening to books. 5 picture books/easy readers or 1 chapter book = 1 ticket. Kids can register and pick-up reading logs any time before Oct. 12.

Storytime will resume on Sept. 20 and run for 5 weeks as follows: Tues. 0-3 years old, Wed. 3-5 years old, Thurs. 2 and 3 years old. We'sll share stories, songs, rhymes, and a simnple craft. All storytimes start at 10:30a.m. No registration required.

Saturday Drop in Crafts. Craft programs featue several projects for kids and parents to do together. Drop-in anytime between 11a.m. and 3:30p.m. Craft programs are not appropriate for chidren under 3 as small parts might present a hazard.

After School Adventures for grades K and UP Wes. at 4:30p.m. Sept. 21-Oct.19.
Sept. 21 - Egypt-Make a pharaoh mask, hieroglyphics, play snake drop, and walk like an Egyptian!
Sept. 28- Be a Spy! Top Secret! Come to the program and get your Spy ID and go on an adventure.

Science Club. Science program for Grades 3-5 to be held on the first Mon. of Oct.-May
Oct. 3 at 6:30p.m.- Bubble Science- explore basic concepts behind soap bubbles through fun experiments and devise bubble creating instruments. Grades 3-5. Registration required.

Readers Lair Book Clubs
Grades 2-5 will meet on the second Thurs. starting on Oct. 13.
Grades 6 and up will meet on the second Wed. starting on Oct. 12.

As Smart as Melissa
Mohr Library invites students in grades 3-6 to join thier art class and lean how to make art in the styles of different great masters. Classes will be held on the second Friday of the month at 4p.m. starting on Oct. 14.

Nine-Day Cruise
Join the Blackstone Valley Travelers on a nine-day cruise with Royal Caribbean on Oct. 27 to St. Marteen, San Juan, Panama, Dominican Republic & Labadee. $1,069 per person includes motor coach, taxes and port charges.
