Saturday drop-in: Crafts programs are held every Saturday and feature several self-directed projects for kids and parents to do together. Drop-in anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Craft programs are not appropriate for children under 3 as small parts might present a hazard.

Mens A Cappella Singing
The Narragansett Bay Chorus invites all men who like to sing to their open rehearsals. Join them every Thursday evening for a fun night of a cappella singing. Reading music is not necessary, as learning CDs are available. Four-part harmony fills the rehearsal hall. Attend, sing and enjoy the fun. The Rhode Island AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is offering free income tax assistance and preparation. Scholarship Fund
The Rhode Island Building Industry Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for their scholarship fund. The purpose of the fund is to aid Rhode Islanders who require financial assistance in the pursuit of education in the construction or building industry fields. Any Rhode Island resident who is unable to provide full payment of tuition or other costs for courses related to the construction or building industry is eligible. Senior Softball
Registration is now underway for those 57 and over to join in a recreational slow pitch softball league. All games are played at City Park in Warwick. The application fee is $20. Deadline for registration is March 15. They play from May to September. The league’s priorities are fun, recreation and friendly competition. Lend A Hand Annual Benefit Dinner
Lend A Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation will be hosting its 5th Annual Benefit Dinner at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston. Entertainment will be solo artist Tony Cerbo performing in the style of Michael Buble and vocals and sax performed by Matt B Entertainment. Cocktails, dinner, silent auction, raffle and door prize.
