At the Mohr Library
Saturday drop-in: Crafts programs are held every Saturday and feature several self-directed projects for kids and parents to do together. Drop-in anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Craft programs are not appropriate for children under 3 as small parts might present a hazard.
Storytime
Tuesdays 0 to 3 years old
Wednesdays 3 - 5 years old
Thursdays 2 and 3 years old
All Storytimes start at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.
Science Club for grades 2-5 will be held on the first Monday of the through the month of May. Hands-on experiments and exciting explorations.
Baby Farm Animals will be at the Mohr Library June 2 at 11 a.m., rain or shine. No registration. Farm visits and educational traveling petting farm will bring more than 20 baby animals to the library. Kids and parents will have a chance to interact with diapered goats, chickens, bunnies, kittens, a piglet and more.

AARP Installation Banquet
The North Providence Chapter #4580 AARP is holding its installation banquet at Twelve Acres Restaurant, Smithfield, June 4 at 12 noon. Installing officer is Don Martin, Assistant Director. Members $25, guest $27. Guests are welcome. Remember to bring non-perishables for the Care to Share Food Pantry. For more information call Ann Gemma at 353-1379.

Wine Tasting Fundraiser
The First Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser to benefit the New Dawn Earth center will be held June 15 from 5-7 p.m. at the Diamond Hill Vineyards, 3145 Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland.
