Dorothy (Spiridigliozzi) Russo, 86, of Johnston, passed away August 7, 2011 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ligian B. Russo.
Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano "Dan" and Minnie (Jackvony) Spiridigliozzi.
Dorothy was the devoted mother of Richard R. Russo of Cranston, Paul A. Russo of North Providence, Linda Guglielmo of Florida, Deb Guglielmo of Cranston, Toni M. Russo of Johnston and the late Ligian B. Russo Jr.; loving grandmother of nine; loving great-grandmother of five; and dear sister of Carol Carroccio and Marie Vendetti, both of Johnston.
Her funeral will be held Aug. 11 at 8 a.m. from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
