Elissa R. Parkinson-Stephen, age 37, of Omaha Boulevard, Warwick, died at home on Monday, September 28, 2015. She was the wife of the late Chad E. Stephen.

Born in Warwick, the daughter of Richard and Lorraine (McDonnell) Parkinson of Cranston, she lived in Cranston before moving to Warwick ten years ago. She was a 1996 graduate of Cranston High School East, where she played tennis, softball, and sang in the chorus. Elissa attended the Community College of Rhode Island. She was very popular, generous, and known for her smile. Elissa was employed by Cox Communications in Warwick for 15 years.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Adam. M. Parkinson of Johnston; and her devoted golden Labrador Retriever, Jake.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5, at 11 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 10 – 11 a.m.
