Gabriella Scarcella is just a sophomore, but she is already the best golfer in Johnston.
Scarcella shot a 113 overall at the girls’ state championship at Newport Country Club, but the elements weren’t in her favor as the wind and spitting rain were non-stop.
She will be back as a junior looking to improve on her finish from this season, which she can undoubtedly accomplish with her skill set on the links.
