Greenville’s Heritage Hills hosts Chamber’s ’Business Before Breakfast‘

Gretchen Sechio and her staff at Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville last week hosted the North Central Chamber of Commerce’s “Business Before Breakfast” event.

Sechio – the administrator at Heritage Hills, which also has 10 sister locations throughout Rhode Island, including the Morgan Health Center in Johnston – and her staff put on a complete buffet breakfast and gave each and every attendee a gift notebook and pen.

“I never expected anything like this,” said Richard Iannitelli, who owns and operates Iannitelli Agency Inc. in Smithfield. “This is impressive.”

Rosemarie Borengasser, a recent recipient of the Chamber’s Shining Stars of the Year Award winner, was perhaps a bit overwhelmed with the amount of food Heritage Hills served to the morning’s attendees.

“This is special,” said Borengasser, who along with her husband Greg Borengasser owns and operates RTS Embroidery & Promotional Solutions.

Nancy Carroll, Erin Campbell, Ann Andrews and Millie Campbell, along with Brad Poirier and Bill Trabulsie, concurred. The same held true for John Hays and Erica Valentine, who like other attendees didn’t expect to have a full buffet breakfast at the monthly networking event.

Jamie Dufresne, the Chamber’s new executive director, also agreed.

“There’s no better way to start your day than by sharing a cup of coffee and a hot breakfast with other professionals in the community,” Dufresne said. “As I was leaving the event, I felt determined. I had a whole team of people supporting me and I felt ready to start a productive day.”

Sechio, who even had a special gift basket made up for the morning meeting, said she “really enjoyed having breakfast with lots of new people and introducing our facility to the North Central Chamber membership.”

Dufresne announced the Chamber has two exciting events planned for the coming months.

“Scotch and Cigars” is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Tavern on the Water in Smithfield. The always-colorful Apple Festival returns Sept. 19-20 inside Johnston War Memorial Park.
