Johnston High students finishing work on science fair projects

Posted

This is a very busy time of year at Johnston High School.

After a busy week of midterms, students finish the science fair projects on which they have been working on for months. All college prep and honors students are required to compute a paper and project based on an experiment they have completed.

This assignment counts for 15 to 20 percent of a student’s grade. Teachers stress this project over two months.

Students who excel on the project are asked to participate in the school science fair. Teachers judge during the school day, but it is open to the public on Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. Please come to view the students hard work! Students may advance to the nationwide science fair.
