Kenneth F. Fetta, 76, of Harris Ave, died August 12, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Joan A. (Gallo) Fetta for 54 years.
A lifelong resident of Johnston, he was the son of the late Pasquale J. and Angelina (Geremia) Fetta. Mr. Fetta was a supervisor of maintenance for the Johnston School Department for 26 years before retiring. He had also worked part time as a barber. He served with the RI Army National Guard, and was an avid golfer.
Kenneth was a devoted father and grandfather. Besides his wife, he leaves three children: Michael J. Fetta of Johnston, Patricia Fetta-Collins and her husband, Michael of South Kingstown, and Kenneth J. Fetta of Johnston; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He also leaves his sister Maria Baffoni of Johnston.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
