Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston hosted Congressman Jim Langevin for a tour on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Owner Chris Hurd gave the congressman an overview of the business, which employs 110 Rhode Islanders and has provided service to more than 200,000 customers since its opening in 1935. After a tour of the facility, the pair discussed legislation that is relevant to the auto industry, and the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in Rhode Island.
