Margaret (Palmisano) Civito, 94, of Johnston, previously of Providence, passed away September 17, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Civito.
Margaret was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Rosario and Anna (Comella) Palmisano. Mrs. Civito was a jewelry worker at the former Imperial Pearl Company in Providence.
Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Roseann Moore of Rehoboth, Mass. and Paula Sivo of Johnston. She was also the cherished grandmother of three, great-grandmother of two and was the sister of Teresa "Terry" Zarrella, Samuel Palmisano and Elena Palmisano, all of Cranston. Margaret was the sister of the late Anna D'Alessandro, Rose DeMizio, Angelina Antonucci, Michael Palmisano, Sue Funaro and Anthony Palmisano.
Her funeral was held Sept. 21 from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Brayton Ave., Providence. Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
