Marine biology at Mohr

Local children and adults had a chance to see marine animals of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean up close on July 10 at the Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library in Johnston. Rene DiPippo of the Biomes Marine Biology Center of North Kingston brought a number of these animals to the library for the children to see and touch as part of the library’s Summer Reading Program. The Biomes Center is New England’s only private marine education facility and the most hands-on aquarium in the region. (Sun Rise photos by Charles Lawrence)
