Milissa A. King, 29, of Cynthia Drive, died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved daughter of the late Gary E. and Diane E. (Coutu) King.

Milissa worked as a barista for various café’s in Providence, including Brewed Awakenings and La Salle Bakery.

She leaves her brother Gary E. King, Jr. and his wife, Colette, of Cranston; her grandparents, Gerald W. Coutu and his wife, Mildred; her nieces and nephew, Madison, Gavin, Antonia, Michelina, and Angelina King; her aunts and uncles, Ronald Roselli, Linda Roselli, Anand Kublalsingh, Robert Coutu, Dewitt and Gloria Morgan, Marie Coutu, and Robin Hayes; she also leaves her fiancé Paul LaPierre.

Her funeral was held on Monday, August 17, 2015 in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial followed in Saint Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours were Monday morning.
