Nunzio A. "Lucky" Lossini, 82, of Johnston, passed away July 6, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved and devoted husband of 54 years to Rose (Carvoski) Lossini.
Born on Federal Hill in Providence, he was a son of the late Luigi and Angelina (Lombardi) Lossini. "Lucky" was a self-employed architect and general contractor for 65 years before retiring in 2008.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Anthony J. Lossini, Bruce H. Lossini and his wife, Roberta, Cheryl R. Manzi and her husband, Paul, and Darleen A. Rampini, all of Johnston. He was the cherished grandfather ("Papa") of Anthony John Jr., Jamie Marie, Leeann Marie, Paul II, Tiffany Rose, Myles, Chadd, Blake and Rachaell Rose, and a great-granddaughter, Hailee. He was the brother of Elio "Duke" Lossini of Johnston, Yolanda Comeau of Florida and the late Marie "Maggie" Gasparri.
His funeral was held July 9 from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston.
