BALANCES DUE AND UNPAID

The undersigned, Senior Supervisor of the PROVIDENCE WATER SUPPLY BOARD, hereby gives notice that he will sell at public auction in the City of Providence, Council Chambers, 25 Dorrance Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on the 15th day of August, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. Local Time, the various parcels of real estate (for the levy upon which notice is hereby given) or so much thereof as may be necessary to pay the account balances due which constitute a lien thereon as set forth in the original advertisement of the 21st day of July, 2016 in THE PROVIDENCE JOURNAL, THE CRANSTON HERALD, THE JOHNSTON SUNRISE AND THE NORTH PROVIDENCE VALLEY BREEZE to which refernce is hereby made.

Property upn which account balances have been paid since the advertisement first appeared will not be included in the sale.

Be advised that if property in which you have an interest is sold at lien sale, then you have one year to redeem it through the Providence Water Supply Board or through the lien sale purchaser by tendering the amount paid, plus penalties, interest and costs incident to the sale in addition to the lien sale amount. RIGL 44-9-19.

After the passage of one year, you may exercise your right to redeem through the lien sale purchaser or his attorney, or, if a petition to foreclose your right of redemption has been filed in Superior Court, you may redeem through the Court at the discretion of the Court, until a final decree is entered forever foreclosing your right of redemption. Any redemption shall include the penalties and interest and costs incident to sale and redemption as identified above and as allowed by law. RIGL 44-9-21 and 44-9-29.
