Thornton Elementary School had their annual end of year Field Day last Thursday. The clouds and drizzling rain in the morning broke and let the sun shine through for a warm afternoon of activities, coordinated in part by Thornton staff, the PTO and the fifth graders. It was one last chance for the school to celebrate together, before Monday’s summer dismissal.
