Remembering Ricky

Committee members Vin LaFazia, John Graham, Ron DiMaio and Chairman Steve Placella enjoy a lighter moment inside the Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post 2812 next to this life-like photo of the late Richard D. “Ricky” Salzillo during a meeting for the Jan. 29 multi-course memorial game dinner that has raised thousands of dollars for local non-profits. Tickets are $35 per person and are on sale at the post as well as the Johnston Parks and Recreation Department. The event will begin at noon on Jan. 29 at the post, 1418 Plainfield Pike on the Cranston-Johnston line, and will include a raffle. For reservations or information call 942-9500 or 272-3460.
