On Thursday morning, students from all of Johnston’s elementary schools were bused to Memorial Park to decorate Christmas trees that were donated by Jacavone Garden Center. Each school had a tree and the students had created the ornaments ahead of time. The town’s Parks and Recreation Department sponsored the event, and Durham Bus Services donated a bus for the occasion.
