Gordon and Laurie Schoonmaker Sr. of Chesterfield Ave., Warwick, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 26, 1979 and are childhood sweethearts since 1971 and have been together for 48 years. They have two children, Gordon Schoonmaker Jr. and Shaylyn Schoonmaker, and a grandson, Tyler Mead Burrows.
