Frank J. "Pinky" Monti, 88, of Johnston, passed away June 16, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the companion of Rose Quarto for 18 years.
Born in Providence a son of the late Ralph and Laura (Ferrara) Monti. Mr. Monti was a construction laborer for Local 271. He was a member of the Johnston Senior Center. Frank was an avid bowler at the Johnston Town Hall Lanes. He enjoyed player bingo and had a love for coffee ice cream.
He is survived by his brother John Monti and his wife Marie. Loving uncle of: Ralph Monti, Cheryl Blain, John Monti Jr., Lori Chartier, Joseph Monti and Michael Monti and many great-nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Concetta Monti.
His funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in ''Woodlawn'' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. Visitation Monday morning 9:30-11 a.m. Please share memories at www.WoodlawnGattone.com
