To the Editor:
When is bullying okay? Is there a time or place where it is permissible to bully someone?
It seems to me that we have had a number of reports over the years of the outcome of a person being bullied and the outcome was not good. It seems that there have been programs put in place in our schools to address the issue of bullying because it was wrong and to help students deal with it.
So I ask, is there a time or place when it is appropriate to bully someone? My upbringing says, no.
If you agree then what do you and I do about bullying that is going on now and seems to be accepted as okay. Yes, I am now talking about Democrats and their behavior. Democrat leaders in the House and Senate are telling you to bully any Republicans wherever you find one, including their families, and no Democrat is condemning it.
So are we now going to go into our schools and say that the rules have change, you can now bully anyone who does not agree with your views? It is a sad day but there is something you and I can do about some of it. I have not read or heard any condemnation for this bullying from our Senators or Representative so in the voting booth I will vote for Bob Flanders.
We can vote for Republicans across the board and maybe that change would continue to move our country forward and send a message that bullying is not acceptable behavior.
