The Rhode Island Convention Center will welcome the 69th Annual Rhode Island Home Show featuring the 26th Annual Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show. The show, presented by the Rhode Island Builders Association

(RIBA), is expected to draw over 25,000 people April 4 through 7.

John Marcantonio, Chief Executive Officer of the RI Builders Association, addresses the Show’s core features and collaboration among participants, “Adding the Flower & Garden Show to the RI Home Show in 2017 was a way for us to combine outdoor living, horticulture, and the environment, with energy and housing. It’s turned out to be an amazing collaboration with incredibly talented and dedicated Rhode Island based organizations, and because of their efforts, the Flower and Garden Show will be much bigger, bolder, and pleasing to those who attend the show. Other tremendous additions are the 6th Annual Energy Expo, the Connected Home Experience, an Outdoor Living Showcase and the AARP Age Friendly Home featuring interior design. In short, the 2019 RI Home Show continues to provide great value and great experiences. We thank the public for supporting and allowing it to grow in its 69th year.”

The Rhode Island Federation of Garden Clubs (RIFGC) and Central Nurseries of Johnston have come together to create a Flower and Garden Show, entitled “Dream, Discover, Design!”

Garden Feature Central Nurseries has provided the design, plant material and other accents to bring the over 10,000 square feet of garden space to life. The design will include several vignettes showcasing the latest in gardening trends, as well as the diverse landscapes found in Rhode Island.

The garden vignettes will focus on a water feature, green roof and living wall, rooftop living, backyard entertaining and dining, coastal landscaping, edible community garden, xeriscaping, traditional foundation planting and garden accents.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door: adults $10 (all kids are free). Ticket purchases are valid for four days with re-entry wristband. The schedule for the four-day event is Thursday, April 4 12-9 p.m.; Friday, April 5 12-9 p.m.; Saturday, April 6 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
