Northern RI Chamber announces staff changes

The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce has announced that Angelica Dimitri of Johnston has joined the staff.

A 2016 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Dimitri received her degree in communications and leadership. She completed two internships at Chamber member businesses while at URI – RDW in Providence and Amica Mutual Insurance in Lincoln.

In her new position, Dimitri will be responsible for marketing/communications and coordinating events.

The Chamber also announced that Pat Martell has been named director of membership, retention and acquisition. Martell joined the Chamber staff in 1998 and has held various positions with the organization.

The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of businesses in the communities of Burrillville, Central Falls, Cumberland, Foster, Glocester, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, North Smithfield, Pawtucket, Scituate, Smithfield, and Woonsocket.

The NRI Chamber leads the Chamber of Commerce Coalition, representing nine area chambers of commerce. The Coalition is one of the largest business advocates in the state representing more than 6,500 businesses and 70,000 employees statewide.
