Radio Beacon, Episode 6: Justin Goncarek of OceanSide Graphics

Posted

Beacon Communications, publisher of the Warwick Beacon, Cranston Herald, Johnston Sun Rise and Coventry Reminder newspapers, recently launched a new venture - our "Radio Beacon" podcast.

Each week, Herald editor Daniel Kittredge, Sun Rise editor Jacob Marrocco and sports editor Alex Sponseller provide an overview of the top stories in our communities. Along the way, we feature interviews with local newsmakers and others with unique and difference-making stories to tell.

This week, we're joined by Justin Goncarek of Warwick's OceanSide Graphics, which has partnered with the office of Lt. Gov. Dan McKee for the website rismallbusiness.org. Goncarek tells us how the new initiative aims to support local businesses during the current public health crisis.

And ICYMI, check out our recent episodes to hear our chats with Steve McAllister, a Warwick City Council member and executive director of the eastern region for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Beacon alum Will Geoghegan, author of "Summer Baseball Nation"; and Jack Howell, a Warwick native living in Hong Kong.

Subscribe today, and check out "Radio Beacon" on iTunes, Spotify and other podcast platforms. You can reach us at dan@rhodybeat.com.

This is really neat, and a kind of father-son collaboration is another good angle to this. Enjoying it!

Mcallister is completely useless. He has continued to ignore his constituents, not return phone calls or emails, and is unable to answer questions when confronted in public. This guy has to go. He is another Ward 7 waste product.
