“Casino,” a fun-filled fashion show extravaganza, will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006, at 6 p.m. at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston. Tickets are $40.00 per person and include dinner and fashion show. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island’s Annual State Summer Games, which will be held June 2-4, 2006, at the University of Rhode Island.

The evening show will host a variety of exciting fashions from JC Penney’s Department Store at the Warwick Mall. Fashion coordination will be once again under the guidance of Bonnie Briggs and the selected fashions will be presented by local professional models with commentary by Karen Adams from WPRI-12/Eyewitness News/Fox Providence. Committee members include co-chairs Karen Fazioli and Elish Rainowski, along with Moira Teixeira, Louanne Gamba, Teresa Pennachia, Chrystal Pennachia, Beth Upham, Kathy Lambrese and Bonnie Briggs.

Guests will enjoy a wonderful gift bag, a silent auction and raffle, featuring a grand prize trip for two.

“Casino” promises to be a finely crafted evening with the clothes, music, menu, door prizes and raffle all blending together to form a vision of energy and excitement.
