Public Hearing

Notice is

given pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws § 45-24-53 that the Johnston Town

Council will hold a Public Hearing at the Johnston Municipal Court, 1395 Atwood

Avenue, Suite 109, Johnston, R.I., on July 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to

consider proposed Ordinance 2008-12 to amend the Zoning Ordinance and

the Official Zoning Map, as summarized here.

Assessor’s Plat: 50

Assessor’s Lot: 66

Present Classification: R-40

Proposed Change: Cluster subdivision with

conditions as noted in Ordinance

Purpose for Change: For

the construction of 12 single family residential homes

Said lot

being located on Killian Road

The proposed

Ordinance may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing

without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the

views expressed at the public hearing. Said proposed Ordinance is available at

the office of the Town Clerk for examination. Any alteration or amendment will

be presented for comment in the course of the hearing. All persons interested in the above

application are requested to attend said meeting and be heard. Individuals

requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Office

of the Town Clerk seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.
