Make the time in your day to hang out with friends, stay connected to those around you, and stay in the moment because this is the fastest year of high school. Best High School memory: My best high school memory was Winter Ball my junior year. I transferred from a very small school that wasn't big on school dances, so Johnston's Winter Ball was my first real high school dance. Seeing the entire school come together was so beautiful, and I had so much fun. I especially loved the tradition of Santa Claus and his reindeers making an appearance and reading a traditional Christmas story.

Who helped you succeed in High School: I owe my success to God, my family, and all my friends. They've kept me grounded and have supported me through all of my hardships and accomplishments. I’m also incredibly grateful for my teachers and mentors who have pushed me to do more than I thought I could, which I will always be so appreciative of.

Advice for next year’s class: Don’t be afraid of change, it often leads to growth. Transferring schools for my junior year was a big shift for me, but it helped shape who I am today. Embrace new environments, new people and new opportunities.
