Gerald F. Morin, Jr., 68, of Johnston, died July 31, 2013 at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Annette J. (Parrillo) Morin.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Gerald F. Morin Sr., and Adeline E. (Mimande) Morin-Parrillo. Mr. Morin was a machinist for the former Nellis Jamesbury Co. and for General Dynamics. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Centredale Fire Department, was a member of Big Brothers, the Smithfield Sportsman’s Club, and was a member of the 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus.

Besides his wife, Gerald leaves a brother, Paul R. Morin of Pascoag and a sister, Edna L. O’Rourke of Narragansett.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Friday 5-8 p.m.
