In search of their first league victory of the season, the Johnston girls’ soccer team played a pair of one-goal games last week. Unfortunately for the Panthers, the progression didn’t continue Monday afternoon. Facing third-place Burrillville, Johnston couldn’t get its offense going and saw the Broncos surge to a 6-0 victory. The Panthers will try again to break through today when they visit Westerly at 6 p.m.
