Kylie Hartley was "so fascinated" by Amelia Earhart and the mystery surrounding her disappearance. "I love mysteries," she said.
Childhood memories sparked Maleah Thayorath's interest in Sacagawea. "When I was little, my mom used to tell me stories about her and I wanted to learn more."
Michaela Rose chose to represent Benjamin Franklin because "He was my favorite man in history. I learned that he created the Franklin Stove."
Sporting a beard, Damaris Villagran enjoyed learning about President Lincoln. "I think he is a great president and he also helped free all the slaves," she said.
Jordan Oliveira knew that "Einstein was very smart and intelligent and made many discoveries in his life," but until this project, he did not know that he struggled in school when he was a child.

Several fifth grade students at Thornton Elementary School presented their "A Walk Through Time" biography projects at last week's PTO meeting.
