Report Inappropriate Comments

This letter contains factual inaccuracies. In regard to this statement: "Democrat leaders in the House and Senate are telling you to bully any Republicans wherever you find one, including their families, and no Democrat is condemning it.," Only one representative, Maxine Walters, has called for any sort of action, and she didn't call for "bullying" of Republicans and their families. Her statement was: "Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere." Notice she only says "anybody from that Cabinet," not Republicans in general, but officials who are paid with our tax dollars. Additionally, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Bernie Sanders, among others all spoke out against Maxine Walters' statement.

We can vote against Republicans across the board and maybe that change would continue to move our country forward and send a message that lying and spreading misinformation are not acceptable behavior.
